The Colbert Report's Captain America Reveal Is Now Online

A six-minute clip from last night's episode of Comedy Central's late-night comedy The Colbert Report has been released officially on Hulu this morning, which means Marvel Comics fans can see Marvel Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada officially declaring former Falcon Sam Wilson as the new Captain America.

And, in a less-discussed controversy, giving fans their look at the Marvel Universe's new, white Falcon -- Stephen Colbert!

Captain America #25 hits the stands in October, introducing Sam Wilson as Steve Rogers' replacement, after which the series will relaunch with All-New Captain America #1. It's part of the larger Avengers NOW! initiative that will also see the release of Superior Iron Man and a new Thor title with a female lead.
