As a director, Michael Bay is known for his love of practical stunt work. Many of his most popular blockbusters feature DIY scenes filled with off-beat yet genius stunt rigs - but Transformers: The Last Knight might just take the cake. A new behind-the-scenes video from set showcases Bay's latest creation called the 'Room Roll,' and it is about as nauseating as it sounds.

The Facebook video follows the director as he films a scene with Mark Wahlberg and Laura Haddock for the Transformers flick. He tells the actors to "hold on as long as possible" and "catch [onto] it hard." Viewers quickly learn that Bay is talking to the two about the set they're shooting on as it rotates a full 360 degrees.

Looking at the massive set, fans can clearly see why Wahlberg and Haddock might be weary of it. The rotund piece spins slowly in a circle, leaving the two actors to grab onto a green-screen pole to ground themselves while they hang in midair. Seriously, the stomach-churning set is enough to make anyone feel queasy.

Several crew members and stunt coordinators appear in the video and give viewers an explanation for the set. One says Bay wanted to "create the sensation that you're in this room that is rotating 360 degrees." They also stressed that filming was "definitely intense" and "physical" because the actors are upside down for about half of the shoot.

Audiences can see this for themselves firsthand as Wahlberg and Haddock are found dangling from the set piece whilst screaming. When asked how the shot feels, Haddock can be heard yelling, "It's pretty f**king weird!"

Of course, her tone changes a bit once filming wraps. The actress eventually comes off of the set and admits that "it [was] pretty cool! It was so weird but cool."

If you're looking forward to Transfromers: The Last Knight, then you'll be able to see this daredevilish scene post-CGI when it hits theaters. We've included the film's synopsis below to tempt your autobotic appetites:

Optimus Prime finding his home planet, Cybertron, now a dead planet, which he comes to find he was responsible for killing. He finds a way to bring the planet back to life, but in order to do so he needs to find an artifact, and that artifact is on Earth.

The cast of Transformers: The Last Knight stars Mark Wahlberg ("Planet of the Apes") as Cade Yeager, Isabela Moner ("100 Things To Do Before High School") as Izabella, Josh Duhamel ("Life as We Know It") as Lieutenant Colonel William Lennox, and Tyrese Gibson ("Furious 7") as Robert Epps, as well as Jerrod Carmichael ("Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising"), Anthony Hopkins ("Thor: The Dark World"), and the iconic Peter Cullen as the voice of Optimus Prime.
