X-Men fans have to appreciate the fact that Bryan Singer has joined Twitter. The X-Men Days Of Future Past director continues to reveal details of the highly anticipated new X-Men movie.
In two tweets today, Bryan Singer has confirmed not one, but six different returning cast members. Singer tweeted, “I'd like to officially welcome back James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, & Nicholas Hoult to #XMEN for #DaysOfFuturePast”
Singer then followed it up by tweeting, “Thrilled to announce @ianmckellen118 & @SirPatStew are joining the cast of #XMEN #DaysOfFuturePast #magneto #professorX More to come...”
While it’s long been rumored that cast members from both X-Men: First Class and the original X-Men trilogy would be returning for X-Men Days Of Future Past, this marks the first confirmation from an official source. X-Men Days Of Future Past is scheduled to be released in theaters on July 18, 2014.
