She was well known for calling people, “Dahling,” and basically being Hollywood’s first and only Glamour Queen.

Before moving to the United States, Gabor was crowned “Miss Hungary” in 1936, and then emigrated in 1941. The actress had an incredible career that spanned 40 years, including starring roles in films like the original Moulin Rouge and a role as Minerva in the Adam West Batman TV show.

In memory of the lovely Zsa Zsa Gabor, who sadly passed away earlier today, lets remember her 5 best roles…

Minerva

Zsa Zsa Gabor played the role of Minerva in the original live-action Batman series in 1968.

In this episode titled Minerva, Mayhem and Millionaires, Minerva runs a health spa in Gotham City. She has been using her Deepest Secret Extractor which is disguised as a piece of spa equipment. With this, she pulls off a number of robberies, until Alfred goes under cover.

Although Batman, Robin, and Batgirl defeated her, Minerva went along quietly as she has plans to start a spa section at the local prison.

Touch Of Evil

Touch of Evil is a 1958 crime drama film noir, written, directed by, and co-starring Orson Welles.

Zsa Zsa Gabor played the role of a naughty night club owner.

Touch of Evil is one of the last examples of film noir in the genre’s classic era (from the early 1940s until the late 1950s).[4] Since its release, the film’s reputation has grown in stature, and it is now widely regarded as one of Welles’ best films, and also one of the best classic-era films noir.

Touch of Evil is a stark, perverse story of murder, kidnapping, and police corruption in a Mexican border town.
