The official Big Bang Theory Instagram account captioned the photo: “Rain or shine this will brighten your day! All will be explained in tonight’s #BigBangTheory.”
In the humorous pic, Kunal Nayyar, who portrays Raj Koothrappali on BBT, is seen wearing an Aquaman outfit complete with a bright yellow wig. The 35-year-old actor is standing outside of a building with assistants holding an umbrella over his head to protect his awesome outfit from getting soaked in the rain.
For all the Big Bang Theory fans, you will be happy to know that you can likely look forward to seeing many more funny pics from behind-the-scenes. The latest reports that have surfaced are claiming that the cast โ Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg, and Kunal Nayyar โ are closing in on negotiations for two-year contracts.
Glenn Geller, the president of CBS entertainment, previously commented on contract discussions back in January.
“We are in negotiations, but it is definitely business as usual,” Geller said while talking with Variety at the Television Critics Association winter press tour. “We are guardedly optimistic that we will make a deal.”
If the cast does sign-on for two additional seasons, the show will be continuing on into its 11th and 12th seasons.
Jim Parsons, who portrays eccentric genius Sheldon Cooper, spoke out on the possibility of more seasons during a recent interview on Sunday TODAY with Willie Geist on NBC. The 43-year-old actor was asked by the host if he could “shed any light” on whether there will be more Big Bang Theory in the future.
“Unofficial light, but I know everybody wants to,” Parsons said. “Everybody wants to, so I would be shocked if that didn’t happen. I really would be.”
