John Wick: Chapter 2 continues the saga of the mythic titular hitman played by Keanu Reeves, and the sequel is set for a big debut in theaters this weekend.

The John Wick brand is extending beyond the movie screen; we've already learned that there is talk of both a John Wick comic book series, and TV series. The comic book series has been a particularly exciting prospect for fans, as many who love the film also happen to be the sort walking the halls of Comic-Con (fun fact: the first John Wick generated initial buzz with a New York Comic-Con premiere in 2014).

Now we have a look at what Mr. Wick could look like on the comic book page - thanks to some artwork from an industry icon.

That's artwork by Mark Simpson, aka Jock, the famous comic book artist. Jock tends to be active on social media, and will drop pieces of artwork relevant to current events - say, the release of John Wick: Chapter 2. He also has a lot of experience doing artwork for actual movies and their marketing materials, including exclusive posters for companies like Mondo.

In any event: this John Wick pic by Jock looks great. If Jock ended up being the official pen of the John Wick comic book, it would be a big win for fans, no?
