As the upcoming adaptation of Stephen King‘s IT makes its way to theaters in September, there’s been a renewed interest in the 1990 mini-series that first adapted the book.
One of the standouts in that version of IT was Brandon Crane (pictured right), who played young Ben Hanscom of the Losers Club.

Crane had a plethora of supporting and guest roles in shows like The Wonder Years, Full House and Step by Step back in the day, but he’s since stepped away from screen acting.
He’s settled down with his wife and daughters and currently builds websites. And, as you’d imagine, he looks quite different from when he starred in his biggest role.

“I love using both sides of my brain to create things for the web,” Crane writes on his website. “When I’m not building websites, I’m spending time with my little girls or on the Google machine educating myself on the latest technologies, design trends or working on creative writing projects.”
While his main passions are his family and career, Crane hasn’t shied away from his acting roots.
On his Twitter, Crane often retweets fans’ messages and throwback photos about the beloved Stephen King adaptation.
