HBO has announced After the Thrones, a Game of Thrones after show hosted by Andy Greenwald and Chris Ryan of the website The Ringer. After the Thrones will debut on April 25, one day after the Season 6 premiere of Game of Thrones.
After the Thrones began life as a podcast, hosted by Greenwald and Ryan, on now shuttered website Grantland, which was created by The Ringer founder Bill Simmons. Simmons and HBO signed a deal in 2015 to co-develop new content, and After the Thrones' transition to television is the first fruit of that agreement.

After the Thrones will be available to stream on HBO Now, HBO Go, and via HBO On Demand. There are currently no TV airdates for the show, but that may change.
After the Thrones will be executive produced by Simmons, Ryan, and Greenwald, with BSMG President Eric Weinberger.
Game of Thrones returns to HBO on April 24.
