Power Rangers Jungle Fury Complete Season Coming To DVD

Fans looking to complete their Power Rangers collections will get one step closer this December.

That’s when Shout! Factory releases their complete series edition of Power Rangers Jungle Fury on DVD. The collection will include all 32 episodes and will retail for $19.99 (via Power Rangers NOW).

Power Rangers Jungle Fury is the 16th season of Saban‘s Power Rangers, which aired in 2008 as part of the Disney years. The series centered around a villainous presence known as Dai Shi, who had been locked away for generations. Unfortunately, he escapes, so the Pai Zhuq picks three people to fight him, though one of those ends up getting possessed by Dai Shi, paving the way for a new member and the group becoming Power Rangers.

Power Rangers Jungle Fury stars Jason Smith (Casey Rhodes/Red Ranger), Anna Hutchison (Lily Chilman/Yellow Ranger), Aijin Abella (Theo Martin/Blue Ranger), David de Lautour (Robert James/Wolf Ranger), Nikolai Nikolaeff (Dominic Hargan/Rhino Ranger), and Bede Skinner and Geoff Dolan as Dai Shi.

Jungle Fury was notable for a few reasons, including the sheer amount of mentors it included. For perspective, the first season of Mighty Morphin included two total in Zordon and Alpha 5. Contrast that to Jungle Fury, which included 8 mentors throughout the season. A few of these mentors would join the fight in Ranger form, specifically as Spirit Rangers, which did not appear in Gekiranger previously.
