The Mighty Morphin Red Ranger Flies Again In The Thanksgiving Day Parade

The Red Mighty Morphin Power Ranger balloon will be taking its second flight this year at the 89th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday, November 26.

With more than two decades as one of the most successful entertainment properties in television, there wouldn't be much need for a special reason the Red Ranger to morph into a helium balloon and cruise the Big Apple -- but it can't hurt that there's a big-budget feature film in the works, which just made casting announcements and seems to be moving forward at an impressive pace after years in development limbo.

The parade, which goes through the streets of New York, will air live on NBC from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. (in all time zones).
