The news flying out of Disney’s D23 Expo has come at a breakneck, blink-and-you’ll-miss-it pace. Now that the focus has turned to Star Wars: The Last Jedi, we’re starting to learn more about the forthcoming film in the Skywalker saga.

Rian Johnson and the cast of the new movie hit the stage to speak about working on the production and unveil some new photographs of filming. But they also unveiled a brand new Behind-the-Scenes teaser of the film that you can watch RIGHT NOW! Check out the clip up above!

Footage of various sets flash by. The droids are prepped. Various space crafts are parked. “Ryan has written a story that’s unexpected but right,” Ridley said. Rey hands Luke the lightsaber in an emotional moments. “It feels like its own thing,” Ridley said. An explosion takes place in a bunker. Stormtroopers prepare for choreography. Johnson makes Wookie sounds ith Chewbacca. Rey charges down a water line with a lightsaber in her hand.
Luke stands on a stage. Leia is shown. Benicio Del Toro stands in his ship. Adam Driver trains for a lightsaber fight. Daisy Ridley aims for a three on one fight. Rian Johnson hopes the film will be “a little shocking.” Kylo Ren’s helmets are on display — some are damaged. Explosions aboard ships play. Rey poses with a lightsaber. “It’s about family, and that’s what’s so powerful about it,” Carrie Fisher said. General Ackbar is shown at the very end.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters December 15.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi is the second film in the new Star Wars sequel trilogy that began with Star Wars: The Force Awakens in 2015. The film will deal with Luke training Rey to become a, and possibly the last, Jedi. Meanwhile, the Resistance, including Poe Dameron and First Order defector Finn, continues to fight against the First Order, led by General Hux, while Supreme Leader Snoke and his Dark Side follower Kylo Ren continue their mysterious plot.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi is written and directed by Rian Johnson and stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, Andy Serkis, Benicio Del Toro, Laura Dern, and Kelly Marie Tran.
