Shortly after Phil Lord and Chris Miller departed the Han Solo spinoff film, reports surfaced that detailed the film was only a few weeks away from being finished. Over two months after reshoots began filming, Ron Howard has yet to announce that filming has officially wrapped, but a post from star Emilia Clarke on Instagram might have just revealed she has finished her involvement on the project.
The actress revealed her bleach blonde hair on Instagram, a mane she sports on the HBO series Game of Thrones. In all previous seasons of the series, the actress has sported a wig, but while preparing to film the final season, Clarke went all-in and dyed her hair.
The drastic change to her hairstyle would most likely only happen if her work on the Han Solo film was completed, in which she sports her darker, natural hair color.
Another one of the film's stars, Donald Glover, recently wrapped filming on the project, which director Howard shared on his personal social media account.
With two of the film's biggest stars having finished their involvement, could the Han Solo film wrapped filming completely? Only two days ago, Howard posted that Paul Bettany had finished filming, having been brought in for a role in the film's reshoots.
Between the turmoil over this film and the recent change in directors with Episode IX, we'd think Lucasfilm would be excited to share official photos or videos of the cast to build anticipation, so why they'd continue to shroud the spinoff in secrecy is still perplexing.
The untitled Han Solo spinoff film will hit theaters on May 25, 2018.
