Star Wars: The Last Jedi will not be out for another few months, but Lucasfilm just made the wait a bit more unbearable. A full-length trailer for the sequel was just dropped on fans, and the video ended on a note that has some thinking Rey will turn Kylo Ren to the Light before all is said and done.

In the trailer above, fans can see the video ends with a tense encounter that's apparently between Kylo and Rey. The latter is seen telling someone off-screen that she needs a mentor.

"I need someone to show me my place in all of this," Rey says.

The scene is immediately followed by a shot of Kylo Ren standing with his mask off. The character then reaches a hand out. Kylo says nothing about the exchange, and plenty of fans are wondering if the scenes are suggesting Rey could join the Dark side. If the heroine is desperate for a tutor in light of Luke Skywalker's fear of her powers.

However, that doesn't mean Rey has to join the Dark side. There is a chance the heroine and the Resistance could pull Kylo Ren towards the light.

Kylo has gone through plenty in the wake of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The boy killed his father and has been forced to deal with the fallout of Rey escaping his clutches at the film's end. Snoke has been hard on the Knight of Ren to keep him sharp and distanced from his rising emotions, but the newest Star Wars trailer proves Kylo has not distanced himself enough.

The trailer shows several scenes of Kylo in contemplation, and he has a few outbursts of emotions. The boy is seen throwing his helmet at a wall in a fit of rage, and Kylo's face even crumples when he appears to be aiming a blast at the star craft his mother Leia Organa is aboard. If Kylo is still hesitating with his emotions, there may be enough for Rey to pull him back to the Light by asking him to be her mentor.

Still, Snoke has a close hold over Kylo; It would take a big clash between the two for the boy to even consider abandoning his place with the First Order. Fans are not sure what that inciting incident may be, but some think Kylo may snap if Snoke appears to betray him. The trailer hints that the Supreme Leader will try to recruit Rey, and Kylo may feel threatened by the competition. After all, the boy felt betrayed by his own parents since he felt they prioritized the galaxy and politics before him. Should Snoke drag up those feelings of abandonment, Rey may be able to break through Kylo Ren's unstable walls and convince the hero he is being used as nothing more than an Imperial pawn.
