We’ve been hearing rumors about some major Star Wars cameos in Solo: A Star Wars Story, and fans may have spotted one of those cameos: Star Wars icon, Boba Fett! When Solo director Ron Howard tweeted out an image of himself and actor Paul Bettany on set, he may have inadvertently given away the Boba Fett cameo, as well:

Had to say goodbye to my friend @Paul_Bettany today. Another terrific performance from a world class talent. pic.twitter.com/6jkNKQNQZZ

This is a just a silhouette we’re going by, which could arguably be any kind of galactic battle armor, but there is a certain symmetry with the Mandalorian armor that Boba Fett wears.
It would make sense for the galactic bounty hunter / clone protege to show up in Solo: ASWS; after all, the film will see Han Solo (Alden Ehrenreich) and Chewbacca (Joonas Suotamo) messing around in the unsavory Star Wars underworld, hanging out alongside crooks, smugglers, gangsters, and bounty hunters – circles where you’d expect to also find Boba Fett.
As for what other Star Wars character cameos we’ll see? Well, hopefully the upcoming Solo trailer will reveal some of them to fans!
Star Wars: The Last Jedi is now in theaters. Solo: A Star Wars Story arrives on May 25, 2018; Star Wars: Episode IX follows on December 20, 2019.
