Actor Oscar Isaac filmed his second movie with Carrie Fisher this year, Star Wars: Episode VIII, and returned to his dormant official facebook page to share memories and tribute to the late actress.

Isaac, who plays Resistance pilot Poe Dameron in the sequel trilogy that kicked off with Star Wars: The Force Awakens alongside Fisher’s General Leia, started with a simple and irreverent picture. As he smiled on, cuddled up to Carrie Fisher while her dog Gary climbed on them both, she flipped the bird at the camera, looking steely-eyed at it. The jovial nature of the image was contrasted with his written words: “My heart breaks to hear the news of Carrie’s passing. My thoughts are with her family. #MayTheForceBeWithYou”

Today his tributes continued, changing his profile picture to Gary and saying, “Mr. Gary Fisher… whenever you and your mommy arrived all the lights shined brighter…” He then added another picture, presumably of Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill sitting in costume or partial costume on the set of Star Wars: Episode VIII (He’s in Jedi robes, she’s in a dark robe that looks similar to the costume design image she shared accidentally on twitter last year). Fisher has her whole body tilted, quite literally looking at the camera sideways.
“She had no patience for pretense of small talk,” Isaac shared. “She saw through things, at a different angle, with the gritty wisdom that comes from the hardest lessons. And man, did she make me laugh. Will miss you dearly, Carrie.”
Carrie Fisher passed away on Tuesday, having suffered a heart attack Friday afternoon while on a flight from London, where she was filming a TV show, to Los Angeles. Her mother, Debbie Reynolds, also passed the next day after a stroke.
