Rogue One: A Star Wars Story earned $21.9 million at the box office over this past weekend, putting its domestic box office total at $477 million.
While Rogue One: A Star Wars Story has handily defeated all challengers in past weekends, this weekend was a close call for the first Star Wars standalone movie. Hidden Figures opens to $21.8 million, nearly dethroning the box office behemoth.
