The actor who played the older version of Anakin in the prequel trilogy makes his first appearance at the event since 2002, right around when his first Star Wars film was released.

Now, 15 years later, Christensen is making an appearance at Star Wars Celebration 2017 alongside series stars such as Mark Hamill, Billie Dee Williams, and Peter Mayhew.

Ian McDiarmid, who portrayed Emperor Palpatine aka Darth Sidious, will also be in attendance, reuniting the Master with his Apprentice.

Many of these actors are scheduled to participate in a panel commemorating the 40th Anniversary of the Star Wars franchise.

Christensen starred in Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith as Skywalker.

The official announcement for his appearance at Celebration states that the actor will be meeting with fans and signing autographs at the show.

Of course there can be plenty to read in to regarding Christensen’s appearance and whether he’ll appear in more Star Wars films or any other future projects in A Galaxy Far, Far Away.

But for now, all that we know is that the actor is appearing at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando from April 13 – 16.

Maybe someone in attendance will be lucky enough to snap a picture with Christensen and Hamill, reuniting the estranged father and son across space and time.
