If you’ve ever wondered what it’d be like to navigate through one of Star Wars‘ most iconic battles, a recently-released video might be right up your alley.
Youtuber Chuck Maurice recently developed a modification for the game Planet Coaster that sends users on a fast-paced journey through the world of Star Wars: A New Hope.

A demo of the track, which can be seen below, transports its passengers (beginning with some impressive light speed effects) in and around the Death Star.
The opening of the video shows the virtual coaster’s queue line, which shows off impressively accurate locations from the film.
In the second half of the video, viewers are taken on the coaster’s detailed and high-energy course. The path closely mimics the Battle of Yavin, and ends with a rather awesome recreation of Luke Skywalker’s Death Star trench run.
Maurice is no stranger to adapting fixtures of classic movies for Planet Coaster. Other videos on his channel show an equally detailed virtual coaster that mimics Indiana Jones‘ journey through the Lost Temple.
If you’re looking to give your copy of Planet Coaster this intergalactic touch, Maurice has provided a file of the modification for download. It’s a perfect fix for the Star Wars fans who just can’t wait for the reveal of the real-life Star Wars Land at Disney Parks.
