The Last Jedi panel is in full swing, and Daisy Ridley brought the house down at Star Wars Celebration Orlando.

After being asked about her new role, Ridley talked a lot about Rey finally meeting Luke Skywalker.
“I can tell you some things,” Ridley said. “We go deeper into Rey’s story and what is very apparent from where we left off in The Force Awakens…is Rey has a certain expectation in what she might get from Luke and what that might entail and as people know, it’s difficult when you meet your heroes because it’s not quite what you expect.”
“Luke’s first words,” are what Ridley is most excited about for The Last Jedi. With that, Gad introduces BB-8 to the stage. Gad jokes back and forth with BB-8 before the droid leaves the stage.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi, from writer/director Rian Johnson, is in post-production now for a December 15, 2017 release. The film follows-up and continues the story of the next generation of the saga as Rey, Poe, Finn, and Kylo Ren find their place in the galaxy and follow the legacy of Luke Skywalker, Leia, and Han Solo. Daisy Ridley returns to star as Rey, with other returning stars John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, Peter Mayhew, Andy Serkis, Anthony Daniels, Lupita Nyong’o Mark Hamill, and Carrie Fisher as General Leia Organa. Benicio Del Toro and Laura Dern join the cast in as-yet-unrevealed roles.
