While the 2011 movie Real Steel was widely panned during its release, the movie about a robot fighting league might have inadvertently predicted the future. Megabots, Inc., a business specializing in building human piloted robots, announced earlier this week that it planned to start a robot fighting league. The company raised $2.4 million in seed money and was partnering with a law firm with experience in organizing sports leagues to start its international competition.
