The season premiere of The Walking Dead evoked a lot of emotions. There was that queasy feeling when we saw Glenn get walloped so hard on the noggin that his eye popped out and his fingers kept twitching even though his head was smashed to pieces. There was a deep sadness as Maggie looked upon Glenn’s grisly remains. There was the overwhelmingly dread we felt as Rick prepared to cut off his own son’s hand.
