The Walking Dead is spending the next two weeks splitting things up again. Even though the last episode finally took audiences back to Rick and the group, it’s going to be a little while before that happens again.

Tonight’s episode will focus on the folks over at Hilltop – Maggie, Sasha, Jesus, and Gregory. Next week’s episode will give fans a chance to check in on a couple characters that haven’t been seen so far this season, Heath and Tara, as they discover a new community.
All that being said, there’s still a question on most people’s minds as they gear up for a new episode – Will Rick show up?
It’s understandable, as Rick is the most vital character on the show. Rick is also dealing with much more than the other characters, so it would be nice to check in on him a little more often.
Well, you’re in luck. Even though the episode is about Hilltop, context clues suggest there’s a good chance Rick will make the cut this week.
In a clip released by AMC earlier in the week, Carl and Michonne are talking about Rick’s decision-making. The two discuss why they didn’t go with Rick, wherever that may have been. Michonne then heads out on a mission of her own.
It would be difficult to imagine watching this conversation in the episode, and not getting some kind of context. In order for this clip to make sense, the show will likely need Rick to appear. At least for a little bit.
Fans everywhere, rest easy. You will see Mr. Grimes tonight. It may just be for a minute or two, but Rick will show up just for you.
