What could say ‘Happy Holidays’ quite like bashing in skulls with a baseball bat, or rotting corpses roaming the Earth?

While The Walking Dead hasn’t always been known to be your go-to Christmas programming, the show’s famous villain Negan got a festive makeover this week.
Actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan appeared on the food-centric talk show The Chew this week, and he was given a kind gift from the hosts. After he had spent some time talking about food, family, and the Holidays, Morgan was given a mucher merrier version of his favorite lady.
No, we’re not talking about Mrs. Morgan. Lucille, the famous bat wielded by Negan on the show, was given to Jeffrey from the show’s hosts. Instead of her usual dressings of barbed wire and blood, Lucille looked much more festive.
The bat was covered in tinsel and Christmas lights, making Lucille look much less intimidating. The new look didn’t stop Morgan from having his fun, as he put the bat over his shoulder and pointed it at different cameras – just as he did before killing Glenn and Abraham in the season seven premiere.

The actor and the hosts joked about the weapon, and one host laid down the law by telling Morgan, “No eenie-meenie-miny-moe!” It was a funny moment that helped to remind everyone that the show is just make-believe, and Morgan really is a nice guy in real life.

Would you like to see Holiday Lucille deck the halls of The Walking Dead at some point? As crazy as Negan can be, you can never really rule it out.
