The new episode is called, “Say Yes.” The official synopsis for Say Yes reads, “The group scavenge for supplies; Someone in Alexandria must make morally changing decision.”

Rick Grimes, Michonne, Rosita, Tara, and others from Alexandria will return to AMC on Sunday night after being sidelined for the Sanctuary-centric episode a week ago. With Eugene possibly flipping his allegiance to the dark side and Dwight having reached a possible breaking point, Rick’s army will see unexpected twists as they try to rally new members to fight the Saviors.

The last we saw Rick and his group, they were sent scavenging for guns in an effort to fulfill their deal with Jadis and her newly introduced Scavengers bunch. With Say Yes, viewers can expect to see Rick and Michonne’s gun-seeking efforts carried out in new locations, one of which is a schoolyard carnival prompting Rick to climb a ferris wheel, as seen in the preview clips.

These current storylines of the AMC series do not directly mirror any from Robert Kirkman‘s comics. Jadis’ group of Scavengers are vastly different from the Scavengers which appeared in the books ahead of Negan‘s introduction, despite actress Pollyanna McIntosh describing them as the group from the comics during her appearance on Talking Dead.

Following Sunday’s new episode, executive producer of The Walking Dead and director of Say Yes, Greg Nicotero will join ComicBook.com’s live after show, After the Dead, for an exclusive interview recapping the episode and previewing the final four episodes of Season 7.
