The new key art for Season 7B is a testament to The Walking Dead‘s hometown.

A symbol of Atlanta — the Atlanta Falcons — have a two word catch phrase which is shouted by its fans at the Georgia Dome and around the country: “Rise Up!” In fact, Nick Fury himself Samuel L. Jackson has an entire video filmed for the NFL team to play during their home games in which he rallies the crowd to “Rise Up!” when the team needs it most.

Coincidence? Not a chance. The Walking Dead‘s production team frequently pays homage to pop culture icons, previous horror films, and other things they are passionate about. Atlanta, Georgia is clearly one of those as they have all moved their lives to the southeast to be a part of cable’s biggest show.
