The Walking Dead Season 7 has been one of the bloodiest so far — and it’s only half way through. Already, four core members of the Alexandria community have bit the dust and one key member of Negan’s Saviors group has been killed.
The season has packed some of the most brutal, horrifyingly violent sendoffs into its first eight episodes. Whether you are one of the 7 million people who quit the AMC series after the tough-to-swallow Season 7 premiere on October 23 or you just want a refresher, the following slides run through each major death of The Walking Dead Season 7 in chronological order.

Abraham
To start the season, the epic conclusion to the Season 6 cliffhanger was revealed. Negan’s game of eeny-meeny-miny-moe landed on Abraham Ford by not-so-random choice of the villain.ย
Negan proceeded to introduce Abraham to the business end of his Lucille baseball and turn his skull to mush in front of Abe’s girlfriend, ex-girlfriend, and the rest of his friends. Everyone looked on in horror and Negan menacingly smiled until Abraham was completely unrecognizably beaten to pieces on the ground.
It wasn’t over there, though. Negan wanted to rub Abraham’s death in the faces of everyone around. He whipped the blood off of his bat and into Rick’s face and forced Abe’s ex-girl to take a close look at it…

Glenn
…until Daryl stepped in.
Daryl wasn’t having it. Negan just killed his buddy Abraham and now was subjecting Rosita to his bloody baseball bat, mocking the entire group. The last remaining Dixon brother popped up and popped Negan right in the face.
Of course, Negan had already laid out the rules for everybody and punch in the face was definitely breaking them. As a result, somebody else had to go.
Negan looked as though he were going to kill Daryl but, instead, brought his bat down on Glenn for the most heartbreaking moment of the season. Glenn’s eye-popped out in true comic book fashion and he called out for his wife Maggie while taking his last breaths.ย
Glenn, portrayed by Steven Yeun, was one of six characters remaining from the show’s first season.

Fat Joey
Perhaps the only Savior who could have saddened audiences by dying was Fat Joey and he did just that.
While walking around the Sanctuary, sandwich in hand, Joey stumbled across an escaping Daryl Dixon. Daryl wasn’t sticking around to hear Joey’s explanation. Before any conversation, Daryl used a pipe to bash in the skull of Joey, completely Negan style, and complete his escape with the Hilltop’s Jesus.
Joey’s time on The Walking Dead was short but sweet. The henchman to Negan played a key role in the Saviors, directing herds of zombies away from their community and often doing the dirty work Negan and Dwight felt above.
According to Fat Joey actor Josh Hoover, Negan will be “vengeful” upon learning of Joey’s death.

Spencer
The one death which didn’t seem to effect fans of The Walking Dead was Spencer’s. This could be because the moment was pulled straight from the comics and plastered into live-action or because no one ever really liked the character.
Spencer tried to betray Rick Grimes and align himself with Negan, searching for a position of power at Alexandria. Negan, however, did not admire Spencer’s willingness to betray his leader and promptly questioned whether or not the Monroe kid had guts.
As it turns out, Spencer had guts, Negan just had to dig a knife into Spencer’s stomach to find them.
ย
Olivia
Immediately following Spencer’s death, Rosita used her only bullet (manufactured by Eugene) to take a shot at Negan. She missed and struck Lucille.
Negan was enfuriated.
In his rage, Negan ordered Arat to killed someone from Alexandria until the bullet maker stepper forward. Arat swiftly pointed her gun at Olivia and gunned down the woman in charge of rations in the Safe-Zone. The bullet struck Olivia in the face and she fell to the ground, dead, beside Carl Grimes.
