The Five Best Ways The Walking Dead Can Kill Negan

Negan is the most hated character ever to grace an episode of The Walking Dead with their presence. Immediately upon his debut, fans wanted Negan dead.

Killing Abraham and Glenn and being nothing less than a menace to the show’s beloved survivors will earn you a spot in the ranks of Games of Thrones‘ Cersei Lannister. Everyone wants you dead. The characters want you dead and the fans want you dead, Negan.

Given The Walking Dead‘s history of offering creative deaths to some of the fan-favorite characters, the series will really have to deliver if they’re going to kill Negan in a satisfying manner.

Tiger Feed

Immediately upon meeting King Ezekiel and his tiger, The Walking Dead fans saw an opportunity for Negan to be eaten by something other than zombies.

Watching Negan get tossed into Shiva’s cage, becoming a tiger snack for the very hungry big striped lady, would certainly fill up more than just the jungle cat. Fans would be left fulfilled in the wake of Negan’s brutal death as the ultimate justice for Abraham and Glenn was served.

Yes, this list is brutal and dark and gruesome. Yes, we want to see Negan get eaten by a tiger.

Governor Treatment

The Governor got off easy on television by comparison to his comic book counterpart. 

In The Walking Dead comics, Michonne mutilated the villain ahead of his death. He had his eye carved, his arm cut off, and more brutal things than we’re ready to put into words. The Governor was truly sadistic in the comics, rather than the crazy man we met on television. Negan is the embodiment of evil on The Walking Dead. If anyone is going to get chopped up by Michonne, it should be him.

Maggie & Lucille

If Maggie is offered the opportunity to beat Negan with the very bat which he used to kill her husband Glenn, The Walking Dead will have come full circle. 

Maggie’s revenge would have fans of the AMC series standing on their feet, cheering her on. She would unleash vengeance with every swing as others looked on, watching Negan die and Glenn’s memory being harshly honored. Maybe she could hit him so hard that one of his eyeballs just… pops out!

Zombie Chow

Feeding Negan to zombies almost feels like a bit of a letdown compared to how epic many fans hope the villain’s death will be. 

However, there are a few benefits to killing Negan off by zombies. Watching Negan get eaten would symbolize how Negan, nor Rick, were ever really in charge of this world. The only thing with true power if the dead. The dead rule this world and will continue to do so. Now, if Rick were kick Negan into a pit of walkers of some sort, that would just be the icing on the cake.

In fact, let’s make it more of a King Leonidas from Sparta kick as seen in 300. 

Rick’s Revenge

Ultimately, Negan might have killed Maggie’s husband, Sasha’s boyfriend, Rosita’s friend with benefits, and Alexandria’s pantry-caretaker, but it is Rick Grimes who is seeking more redemption than anybody else effected by Negan.

Rick is the clear leader of Alexandria. He needs his confidence back and he needs to fulfill his promise of “I’m gonna kill you” at some point. The thought of Daryl with a knife to Negan’s throat as Rick readies his gun to execute the villain is something all fans of The Walking Dead can get behind.
