Last week, Justin Kucsulain created a storm on the Internet when he posted a photo holding a bunch of Sentry comics and an action figure. As it turns out, if an actor goes to a comic book store and has a favorite comic book character, it means they are up for the role (according to the Internet).

Kucsulain's image was posted innocently with no actual ties to a Sentry role... yet.

Let's back track first. If you're trying to remember where you know Kucsulain from, it's the Hilltop community on The Walking Dead. Though he played a small part, you'll certainly remember it. You know that guy who showed and tried to kill Gregory but ended up with a knife in his throat following an attack on Rick Grimes? Yeah, that's Kucsulain. His character's name was Ethan and while Kucsulain would love to develop that character and his relationships on The Walking Dead a bit more if given the opportunity, he would also love the opportunity to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe as one of his favorite characters.

It seems like the storm has passed but with a little digging, you can find some interesting developments.

In response to a The Walking Dead fan account's tweet, Kucsulain says he would only want to head back to MCU (he played a small role in Iron Man 3) under the direction of Scott Derrickson, director of Marvel's Doctor Strange.

Taking a look at the accounts which favorited the tweet, you'll see that Derrickson is there, at least acknowledging Kucsulain's desire to work with him. Derrickson does favorite a ton of tweets which belittles the fact that he saved Kucsulain's but, going even further, Derrickson went on to follow the actor.

Comment sections and Twitter have been quite supportive of Kucsulain getting the part.

The Walking Dead will return for its seventh season in October. Kucsulain will be appearing in a pair of episodes of Bloodline on Netflix. Whether or not he'll be popping up in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (again) is to be seen.
