The Walking Dead Cast And Crew’s Birthday Messages To Michael Cudlitz

He may not longer be a cast member but Michael Cudlitz will always be a member of The Walking Dead family.

The actor who played Abraham Ford for a trio of seasons on the AMC series celebrated his 52nd birthday on Thursday. His co-stars and directors took to social media to celebrate with the man who had his head bashed in by Negan’s bat in the Season 7 premiere a couple of months ago.

Executive producer and director of the episode which saw Cudlitz sent off of The Walking Dead, Greg Nicotero, shared a photo from Cudlitz last days on set.

Not far from Abraham in the line-up at Negan’s mercy was Ross Marquand’s Aaron. 

The two actors travel to several conventions together throughout the year, building a tight friendship, but nothing cements a bro-mance like when one dude wears a kilt.

Norman Reedus

Daryl Dixon himself threw a “Happy Birthday” out to Cudlitz on Instagram.

Normad Reedus took a photo originally posted to Cudlitz’s Instagram months ago and has since been thoroughly edited by the rabid fanbase and posted it in honor of Cudlitz’s 52nd.

Josh McDermitt

Abe’s best buddy Eugene rounds out the list. Josh McDermitt shared a photo of the two actors at a convention together with a fitting Eugene Porter caption: “Happy Birthday, Bubba.”
