The AMC series which have the entire world begging the question, “Who did Negan kill?” for half of a year brutally answered the question at the top of its seventh season before expanding its world to new, exciting, and terrifying locations in the fifteen episodes which followed.

Now, the time to take a closer and extended look at The Walking Dead‘s latest batch of episodes is going to be upon us. The show’s official website shared the image below with a slight summary of what to expect when the series arrives on blu-ray and DVD.

“The package art pictured below is subject to change and typically AMC unveils a limited edition Blu-Ray/DVD that fans can order later in the year. As for extras, fans can expect some fun bonus scenes,” The Walking Dead site reads. “‘There is a lovely scene with Rick and Carl with Michonne and I’m hoping I put it in the deleted scenes,’ Showrunner Scott M. Gimple recently told Entertainment Weekly. ‘I’m pretty sure I did. That sets up that moment a little bit between Rick and Negan. This was sort of a long scene and it wasn’t 100 percent necessary, but I really did like it and I believe it will be included as part of the deleted scenes.’”

While no additional details of when exactly to expect The Walking Dead‘s Season 7 collection, the page goes on to point out the Season 6 set arrived in August of 2016. Two months ahead of The Walking Dead‘s Season 8 debut is likely about the time when Season 7 will come available with a September arrival on Netflix.

The collection, however, will be loaded with special features.

F-Takes

The introduction of Negan on The Walking Dead came with not only the question of which beloved survivor he would kill upon arrival but also whether or not he would be able to use any of his colorful language fans grew to love in the comics.ย

As it turns out, none of Negan’sย F-words, which are more than abundant in Robert Kirkman’s The Walking Dead comics, made their way onto cable. However, the AMC series has elected to film many of the scenes involving Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s characters in which the actor is able to let loose and deliver the foul-mouthed, comic-book-accurate versions of his lines.

All along, the team behind The Walking Dead has promised that some of these scenes would be available on the Season 7 blu-ray set.ย

This will not be the first time The Walking Dead inserts the F-word into scenes for the blu-ray set.ย Negan’sย introductory scene from the Season 6 finale is available loaded with more than 20 uses of the word and Season 7 promises to deliver several scenes which were not appropriate for cable.ย
