With Game of Thrones‘ release date recently revealed and new promos steadily trickling out, it was only a matter of time before we got our first look of the characters’ new looks.
We just didn’t expect the reveals to be in commercials for HBO itself.

But that’s exactly what we’re getting as the network recruited the stars of its original programming in several different montages where they recreate the famous “AHHHHH” noise heard in their ominous tag.
Dwayne Johnson, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Allison Williams, TJ Miller, and many others all feature alongside various Game of Thrones cast members as they’re edited together, giving their best attempt at making the noise.
More importantly, however, is that it gives the first look at the characters’ appearance for the penultimate season of the adaptation of George RR Martin‘s A Song Of Ice And Fire, currently the top rated TV show as voted by ComicBook.com readers.

Surprising faces appear in the promos, including Sandor “The Hound” Clegane actor Rory McCann and Hodor actor Kristian Nairn. They are featured alongside the still-surviving members of the Stark and Lannister clans as well as the Queen of Dragons herself, Daenerys Targaryen played by Emilia Clarke.
The latest season has a lot of rumors swirling about due to set leaks and production photos, including the return of Arya Stark’s direwolf, Ed Sheeran guest starring, and what could be a fight scene larger than the Battle of the Bastards.
We’ll learn more when Game of Thrones‘ seventh season premieres July 16 on HBO.
