A Major Nickelodeon Series Is Finally Coming to Netflix Soon

A major Nickelodeon series is finally making its way to Netflix as fans have been hoping to see it streaming with the platform for the past few years. Nickelodeon properties are some of the most popular projects fans can stream with Netflix, but there’s been a bit of a rocky road when it comes to enjoy any given franchise. In many cases, Netflix has locked down feature film projects or other spinoffs but have not been able to stream the animated series themselves. That’s the case for one major gem of the 2010s that’s finally going to come to Netflix soon enough.

Netflix has revealed (according to a new listing for the animated series) that multiple seasons of The Loud House will begin streaming with the service beginning on September 1st. There are currently eight seasons of the series that have since broadcast, with Season 9 currently being aired with Nickelodeon. But it’s currently unclear as to how many seasons will be hitting Netflix in September. Either way, it’s good news for fans who might have only been able to see The Loud House Movie streaming with the platform thus far.

The Loud House Is Coming to Netflix

With The Loud House coming to Netflix on September 1st, the animated series has reached a whole new level of availability. Netflix had previously only been offering The Loud House Movie since its streaming release in 2021, so fans have been waiting quite a while to see the series itself. There’s also a film version of its eventual spinoff, The Casagrandes Movie, which is in the same situation that The Loud House found itself in. But soon fans will get to see even more of the series on Netflix and find out why it’s been one of the most recent major hits making waves with Nickelodeon.

The Loud House had formerly only been available to stream with Paramount+, and it’s currently the place where you can find the first seven seasons of the animated series. It’s not known as to whether or not this Netflix debut means it will be removed from Paramount+ in the process, but it’s more likely going to be a deal between the two platforms that allows the two of them to share the streaming licensing rights for it. Either way, it’s going to be available to a much wider group of fans from now on.

What Is The Loud House?

The Loud House is one of Nickelodeon’s big successes of the 2010s. Created by Chris Savino (who was fired from the series a few years later) in 2016, the animated series introduced fans to a huge family. Focusing on Lincoln Loud, the middle child (and only boy) in a family with 11 children, the animated series sees this wacky family getting into all sorts of shenanigans through its run. The series has gone on for nearly ten seasons, and has even released multiple feature films, a live-action movie and TV series, spinoffs and more.

It might be tough for any Nickelodeon series these days to make a mark with children thanks to how much broadcast habits have changed for children overall (which is why there’s so much SpongeBob SquarePants on TV), but The Loud House has broken through regardless thanks to the strength of its characters. Now that it’s coming to Netflix, a whole new wave of kids and animation fans will be able to check it out for themselves.
