Skovbye took to social media today to announce her engagement to fellow actor Jameson Parker. In an adorable Instagram post, Skovbye chronicled Parker’s proposal, which she says took her by surprise.

Skovbye debuted as Polly Cooper, the older sister of Betty Cooper (Lili Reinhart) and onetime beau of Jason Blossom, midway through Riverdale’s first season. She quickly became a fan-favorite on the series, which took home seven Teen Choice Awards over the weekend.
Riverdale‘s second season will premiere on a new night, on Wednesday, October 11th, at 8/7c, on The CW.
