After a grueling 10 man Battle Royal for the number one contender to Bray Wyatt’s WWE Championship, we are only slightly closer to knowing who will headline Wrestlemania with the Eater of Worlds than we were when the night began.

The Smackdown LIVE main event ended in a draw when Luke Harper and AJ Styles tumbled onto the floor at the same time. This led GM Daniel Bryan to run out and declare that we would drag this on one more week and have Styles and Harper fight for the spot on next week’s Smackdown.

With 40 days left until Mania, it makes sense to drag out the suspense another week. The only problem is that Luke Harper’s feet clearly didn’t hit anywhere close to the same time as AJ Styles, thus making the draw ending a little tainted. It was so obvious that Styles landed first that WWE never bothered showing a replay of the spot.

To be fair, getting two guys to land on the floor at the same time is one of the hardest spots to perform in wrestling. Every movement has to be perfect for it to hold up to replay scrutiny. Will the botched finish end up stunting either of these stars’ momentum or can a match next week erase all?

Click through the slides to see exactly how the WWE Universe felt about the wonky ending.
