There are still five episodes left for fans to see of The Flash season two, but production on the season (or at the very least principal photography) has wrapped. Star Grant Gustin tweeted that he's "glad to be on hiatus for a bit!" Wednesday morning.

The actor who plays Barry Allen/The Flash on the show, after last night's confrontation with Teddy Sears' Zoom, said his costar "killed it" and "this cast is amazing." Gustin also said that season three will start shooting in "early July," so we don't have to wait too long to start hearing those season three rumors.

Gustin noted there are four episodes left, but there are actually five - the second season (as did the first) has 23 episodes, and last night was only episode 18. Phew! Five more to go!

The Flash airs Tuesdays at 8pm on The CW. It, along with sister shows Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow have all been renewed for new seasons in the 2016-2017 TV year.
