If you have been relying on Netflix for all your anime-binging needs, then you better listen up. The site is set to bid Hunter x Hunter goodbye at the end of July, so otakus better carve out some time to finish the series there while they still can.

According to new reports,Hunter x Hunter will be part of Netflix's massive exodus at the end of July. The site has monthly turnovers based of its licensing contracts, and it seems as ifHunter x Hunter has reached its tenure with Netflix.

This is not the first anime series to leave Netflix; In the past, the site has bid farewell to shows like Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. There is no word on what has led up to the anime's removal, but fans are chalking up the issue to contract timetables.

For those of you still wanting to watchHunter x Hunter, there is still hope. Sites like Crunchyroll and Hulu do have the series secured in their catalog. Currently, the former site has every episode ofHunter x Hunter. Crunchyroll has paid and free membership levels available for fans, so it won't be impossible to catch up on the show. Hulu also hasHunter x Hunter as part of its line-up though it only has episodes 1-79.

The 2011Hunter x Hunter anime has a total of six seasons to its name, so anime fans should prepare to bundle up if they want to binge it. The series came to an end in 2014 with its Election Arc, leaving fans to wonder if a seventh season would one day be announced. There's no reports in play to suggestHunter x Hunter is due for an imminent anime comeback, but it did just make a manga return. Creator Yoshihiro Togashi ended Hunter x Hunter's ongoing hiatus last month when a new manga chapter was finally published by Shonen Jump.

Yoshihiro Togashi's manga career began in 1986 at the age of twenty, when he won the coveted Osamu Tezuka Award for new manga artists. He debuted in the Japanese Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 1989 with the romantic comedy Tende Showaru Cupid. From 1990 to 1994, he wrote and drew the hit manga YuYu Hakusho, which was followed by the dark-comedy science fiction series Level E and the adventure series Hunter x Hunter. In 1999, he married the manga artist Naoko Takeuchi.

The shonen series is one filled with hijinks and thrilling action since it follows a young boy named Gon Freecs who dreams of becoming a Hunter. Determined to pass the challenging Hunter Examination, Gon and his comrades begin their journey to become revered Hunters and cause a ruckus along the way.
