If you have been waiting for more Mob Psycho 100, then you should know Bones Studios wants to make it happen. News reports surfaced about the company’s impending plans, and Bones appears to be moving forward with its next Mob Psycho 100 project.
Over on Twitter, updates about the anime began popping up as attendees at a Bone Studios screening event logged online. The company hosted a film screenings for Cowboy Bebop: Knockin on Heaven’s Door, Fullmetal Alchemist: Conquer of Shamballa, and Sword of the Stranger. Producer Masahiko Minami and director Masahiro Ando were present at the event, and several tweets report the pair discussed a new Mob Psycho 100 project.
News about the popular shonen title wasn’t the only update dropped at the event. According to fans, the studio also teased that “something” might happen on September 29 to commemorate the tenth anniversary of Sword of the Stranger.

If you are not familiar with Mob Psycho 100, then you can still catch up on the supernatural series. The story was crafted by ONE, a webcomic artist best-known for creating One Punch Man. The comic started in April 2012, and Bones adapted part of its into an anime series in July 2016.
Mob Psycho 100 tells the story of Seigeo Kageyama, an eighth grader with Esper ability. The psychic tries his best to not stand out, but his powers often rope him into increasingly dangerous situations. Kageyama’s powers grow more powerful as the years pass, so he buckles down his emotions to keep a lid on his powers. However, as more threats continue to pursue Kageyama, the boy learns how difficult it is to keep his emotions under lock - but the fate of the world depends on him keeping a straight face.

“Kageyama Shigeo (a.k.a. "Mob") is a 8th grader with psychic abilities. He could bend spoons and lift objects with his mind from a young age, but he slowly began to withhold from using his abilities in public due to the negative attention he kept receiving. Now, the only thing he wants is to become friends with a girl in his class, Tsubomi. With his psychic "mentor" (who has no psychic powers), he continues his daily life, attempting to realize his purpose in life.”
