Zack Stentz, who wrote last night's episode of The Flash, is apparently working on a script for Booster Gold.

Christopher Rodriguez over at Cleats and Capes put the riddle together based on clues from an episode of Fat Man on Batman, on which host Kevin Smith talked to Stentz about their working experience together on The Flash.

Stentz's answers seemed to imply that he was working on a feature film for Warner Bros. with Greg Berlanti, executive producer on The Flash, Arrow, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, and more. Rodriguez deduced that it would be Booster Gold, and a follow-up report from Birth Movies Death confirmed that they've heard the same thing from other sources.

Stentz is best known for his work on X-Men: First Class and Thor. He's got a new Power Rangers movie coming to theaters soon as well.

Rumors started to swirl months ago that Berlanti would direct and produce a Booster Gold movie featuring Blue Beetle as either a supporting character or co-lead, depending on who you ask. While the biggest rumors centered on a Booster Gold/Blue Beetle buddy movie, earlier reports said that Booster Gold was planned as one of a number of mid-budget DC Comics movies based on lesser-known properties including Suicide Squad.

Stentz, it appears, may write and direct the film instead, leaving Berlanti more time to work on his many television projects, including Riverdale, which starts up at The CW in the fall.
