Ahead of San Diego Comic Con, Marvel's Agents of SHIELD is teasing fans with what could be some very big news for the show next season.

In a tweet uploaded to the official Twitter for Agents of SHIELD just hours ago, a photo can be seen of a light rail that's been plastered with a surprising image. The hot advertisement now has fans wondering whether or not they'll be seeing a familiar face joining the Skye's team in the show's fourth season.

The image, which features the usual SHIELD logo, is drawing attention because of its fiery flames which adorn the lower portion of the light rail's cars. Burning with orange and red colors, the chains are almost certainly a direct nod towards the comic character Hellfire who's got a long history with Agent of SHIELD's Skye.

James "J.T." Taylor, who's better known by his alias Hellfire, is a former member of the Secret Warriors from Marvel's comics. He's the supposed grandson of Carter Shade who once acted as the Phantom Rider, and Taylor followed in his ancestor's footsteps by becoming a hero himself once he inherited the Hellfire Chain. The weapon gives Taylor the power to manipulate...well, hellfire. And, in the comics, Taylor adopts the moniker Hellfire after he's recruited by Skye for Nick Fury's strike force team.

As a member of the aptly named Secret Warriors, Hellfire was trained alongside heroes such as Stonewall, Phobos, Yo Yo Rodriguez, and Sebastian Druid. As Yo Yo has already appeared on Agents of SHIELD, it's not a stretch to guess that Marvel might be building a new team who'll appear on the show. While Hellfire did briefly cameo in Agents of SHIELD's third season, Marvel's latest advertisement seems to indicate that the hero might be playing a much larger roll this Fall.

After all, the show's previous season ended with Skye in a vulnerable place as she had gone rogue from SHIELD following her boyfriend's death. Having assumed the name Quake and living the life of an Inhuman vigilante, Marvel might reintroduce Hellfire as a companion for Skye as she sorts out the trauma of what happening during Agent of SHIELD's shocking third season.

Agents of SHIELD will return to ABC this Fall.
