Marvel Cinematic Universe fans are still reeling from yesterday’s D23 presentation, which provided the best look yet at Avengers: Infinity War.

While we know what the lucky attendees of the presentation – including ComicBook.com’s own Brandon Davis – thought of the footage, what did the film’s impressive cast think? Thanks to a recent video by Flicks And The City, we have an answer.

Click through to see several of Infinity War‘s cast members thought of the teaser trailer.

Mark Ruffalo

Since portraying Bruce Banner/Hulk in 2012’s The Avengers, Mark Ruffalo has risen to one of the MCU’sย most prominent members. So what was his reaction to seeing Infinity War being brought to life?

“It was pretty amazing.” Ruffaloย revealed.ย “Just to see ten years of cinematic history converge on one stage, at this moment in time was awe-inspiring.”

Judging by set photos, fans can expect to see quite a bit of Ruffaloย in Infinity War. The actor has been spotted alongsideย Iron Man and Doctor Strange, as well asย Black Pantherย and Thor, and is expected to have a significant onscreen reunion with Black Widow. In the meantime, fans can see Ruffaloย reprise his role in November’s Thor: Ragnarok.

Sebastian Stan & Anthony Mackie

As Captain America’s biggest allies – and twoย MCU fan-favorites – Sebastian Stan (Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier) and Anthony Mackieย (Sam Wilson/Falcon)ย were essentially a given in Infinity War. Nevertheless, the pair appeared to be surprised by the first footage for the film.

“That’s the first time we’ve seen anything,” Stan explained, “so [I’m] speechless.”

“It was pretty intense,” Mackieย added. “Everybody seemed to get way more than they expected.”

It’s safe to assume that the pair will share the screen in some fashion in Infinity War, after a few noteworthy scenes in last year’s Captain America: Civil War. But fans can expect a bit of solo efforts from both characters as well, with Buckyย reportedlyย shown leading a Wakandan army in the trailer.

Karen Gillan

Karen Gillan’s Nebula has gone through quite an evolution since her first MCUย appearance in Guardians of the Galaxy. And now, she’s set to join herย fellow Guardians members in Infinity War – and it sounds like Gillanย couldn’t be more ecstaticย about it.

“It felt so special to have so many of the amazing cast members of Avengers all together. And then there were 7,000 people in the audience, and they were all Marvel fans, and they were all screaming the house down. And it just felt like electricity. I’m just so grateful that I got to experience that. It was just such a high.”

Judging by the footageย description, the Guardians play quite a role in Infinity War‘sย large ensemble. And given Nebula’s personal ties to Thanos – and her vendetta to get revenge on her father – there’s no telling what significance she will haveย on an individual level.

Benedict Cumberbatch

Benedict Cumberbatchย is one of the most recent MCUย additions, playing Stephen Strange/Doctor Strange in last year’s self-titled solo film. And yet, it appears that the actor is well aware of the significance of the film.

“We’re both a bit in shock, still.” Cumberbatchย explained in a joint interview with fellow costar Tom Holland. “We’re both recovering from the full force of seeing something that’s taken ten years to get to this point, both of real people’s lives and of the characters’ stories.”

As Cumberbatchย – who can next be seen in Thor:ย Ragnarokย – the footage, and the fan response to it, moved him to tears.

“We were both trying to fight back tears onstage. It’s incredibly moving.”

Paul Bettany & Elizabeth Olsen

After entering the fold in Avengers: Age of Ultron, Vision and Scarlet Witch have grown to be significant members of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. So what do their actors, Paul Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen, think of Infinity War’sย D23 presentation?

“It was one of the maddest things I ever just did.” Bettanyย explained. “Just walking out there and seeing that many people.”

“It was a lot of people and a lot of screaming.” Olsen added. “It’s really exciting to see how people react when they hear or see someone’s name or see them onscreen. It’s really exciting.”

Tom Holland

As the latest MCU hero to get a solo film, with this month’s Spider-Man: Homecoming, Tom Holland has already cemented himself as as significant member of the cinematic universe. Nevertheless, the actor revealed just how surreal watching the Infinity War footage felt.

“I was nearly crying.” Holland explained. “I’ve been such a huge fan of these franchises since the beginning, and I’m sitting onstage on the floor with the Avengers, watching Avengers that I’m in. I can’t believe it, I genuinely nearly cried.”

Fans can expect quite a bit of the wall-crawler in the upcoming film, with the young hero said to display a new suitย as well as his popular ‘Spideyย Sense.’

Chadwick Boseman

As the star of Infinity War‘s MCU predecessor, Black Panther, Chadwick Bosemanย is set to play a significant role in the cinematic universe’s story. And according to the actor, the most significant aspect of the whole D23 process was seeing the fans’ reaction to it all.

“It was just a very wide stage and a wide audience.” Bosemanย explained. “It’s massive, it’s like a wide ocean of people. And they were so excited for literally every person that came out. You saw how much they love these movies and the assembly of all of us together, it was incredible.”

It sounds like fans will be able to see quite a bit of Boseman’sย T’Challa, as well as the nation of Wakanda, in Infinity War, which is sure to excite many fans – especially after Black Panther‘s February release.

Josh Brolin

And finally, the Mad Titan himself had quite a bit to say about the D23 presentation. As Brolin explained, beginning to see the film come together was a unique experience.

“When you see the actual manifestation, it’s fun. I’m still reeling. It’s a really good time.”

The actor – who was also on hand at D23 to unveil the first look at Thanos’ Black Order, as well as pose for a rather fantastic picture with the Infinity Gauntletย – explained that the filming process is rather unique, especially as a mo-cap heavy character.

“I remember talking to Mark [Ruffalo] when I first got into it, and I was like ‘What’s this like?’ And he was like ‘I’m onstage, and I feel like an idiot, and I don’t know what I’m doing.’ And then I see the movie and I go ‘Oh my god, I’ll do anything you want. I’ll do it naked, whatever.’ What they’re able to do, just with this cutting edge technology, is incredible. It makes every fantasy come true.”
