In the past 12 months, John Cena has been on arguably the greatest run of his career. With multiple four star matches with AJ Styles and a some of the most passionate promos we've heard from the Cenation Leader, Cena is still clearly in the prime of his career. Unfortunately for Cena fans, the 16 time World Champion's current run is about to come to a close.
Cena has been taken off all post-WrestleMania advertising starting on the week after Mania, according to the latest Wrestling Observer newsletter. That also includes the Money In The Bank show that takes place on 6/18 in St. Louis. The MITB show is a Smackdown-branded pay-per-view.
Cena will be hosting the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards on 3/11. After that, rumors are that he will team with girlfriend Nikki Bella to take on The Miz and Maryse at WrestleMania.
Some sites are reporting Cena could be on hiatus until as late as next year's Survivor Series. Cena recently apologized for his previous comments about The Rock being a part time star and not giving his all to the WWE Universe.
Have we seen the last of John Cena as a full time WWE Superstar?
