Much like the symbiotic villain himself, Play Arts Kai new Venom statue has left us drooling.

The Play Arts Kai series from Square Enix, which reimagines favorite comic book characters into figures straight out of Final Fantasy, wasn’t much of a stretch for Spider-Man’s twisted villain. But with just enough exaggeration added to Venom’s already-gruesome design and physique, this is one symbiote we’d never tangle with. The purple highlighting says “Tron” more than “Final Fantasy,” but it’s an engaging take nonetheless.
