Disney Infinity 3.0 isn’t just about Star Wars, though it would be easy to understand why for some fans that has been the focus. Indeed, the third edition of the hit toys-to-life game will feature new characters from all aspects of the Disney empire, including new Marvel Comics characters.

The first two were previously announced, though hadn’t yet been revealed. Thanks to an exclusive reveal by our pals at USA Today, we now have a look at the Ultron figure, and the in-game look at the Hulkbuster form of Iron Man.
Bill Rosemann, creative director for Marvel Games said they “selected Ultron and Hulkbuster very deliberately” after the pair were big hits in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie Avengers: Age of Ultron. It’s that movie’s version of Ultron, then, that made it into the game. While Hulkbuster shares some design elements with the film’s version, too, Iron Man’s heavy duty armor has its own unique look for the game’s universe.
“He’s about as big and bad as they get,” said Jeff Bunker, art director for Disney Interactive. His final toy wasn’t part of the reveal, but they did have more to say about Ultron.
In the game, Ultron will be able to summon additional Ultron drones from the ground as his special move, similar to the late sequence in the film. His long-range blast attack can be partnered with an ability that sounds like it’s borrowed from sister company Lucasfilm’s Force powers. He can magnetically pull enemies toward him to take them out in a more up close and personal manner.
