Lady Gaga is featured on the latest cover of Entertainment Weekly, where she’s fully in character as The Countess from American Horror Story: Hotel.
The Countess is a glamorous socialite who maintains her youthful good looks by ingesting human blood, but don’t call her a vampire.

“I prefer the term ‘ancient blood virus,’ ” Murphy says of The Countess’ condition. “It’s really a form of hemophilia, in a way.”
In addition to blood, The Countess also craves love and sex. As such, she’ll be setting up a love triangle with Donovan (Matt Bomer), who has the same cravings for blood as The Countess, and male model Tristan (Finn Wittrock).
Lady Gaga will make her debut as The Countess when American Horror Story: Hotel premieres on Oct. 7 on FX. Check out the full EW cover below.
