Apparently we're all pretty fearful.

After smashing cable ratings and racking up the highest number of viewers for a series premiere in cable history, Fear The Walking Dead's numbers continue to impress with the updated Live +3 ratings. Including DVRs and later viewership, the August 23 premiere of The Walking Dead companion series had 13.3 million total viewers and 8.5 million adults 18-49.

This addition to the ratings puts the AMC series 32% up in total viewers, 36% in the key 18-49 demographic.

To put this in comparison, the very first episode of Fear The Walking Dead had over 13 million people watching. The Walking Dead, the highest rated show on cable, averages about 15 million to 16 million live viewers each week.

Fear The Walking Dead will run 6 episodes in it first season and is already renewed for a 15 episode season two. The first season of Fear will conclude October 4, the weekend before The Walking Dead's sixth season premieres on October 11.

Fear The Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9 PM ET on AMC.
