Jeremy Irons is at the Toronto International Film Festival and while discussing his film, The Man Who Knew Infinity, is also talking a bit about his upcoming Alfred role in Batman v. Superman.

Irons told the Toronto Sun he filmed “Five or so,” scenes, but in those scenes we can expect an all-new Alfred in comparison to the previously on-screen butlers. “Zack Snyder, the director, wanted to create a completely different Alfred,” Irons said. “So I felt I didn’t have to carry any baggage from previous ones. It’s sort of a reincarnation if you’d like. I had a feeling I was creating my own Alfred, more of a man who can actually do anything if he has to.”

Move over, Michael Caine, it sounds like this Alfred might get physical!
