Disney's Final Captain EO Show Will Be on December 6

While Michael Jackson's Captain EO could be coming into your living room as part of Disney Infinity, the long-standing attraction at Walt Disney World's Epcot Center is apparently set for a farewell mission next month.

The Chip & Company Disney fan blog posted the photo below, with a note that it had just been posted outside of the attraction.

No further information has been released at this time, according to Chip & Co.

Captain EO was a 1986, 3D science fiction film starring Michael Jackson and directed by Francis Coppola that was shown at Disney theme parks from 1986 through 1996. It's generally assumed that the biggest stumbling block to bringing the character into other media, including video games, would be likeness rights issues surrounding Jackson's appearance.
