Platinum Games, the studio behind Transformers: Devastation, Bayonetta and Vanquish, is apparently developing a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles video game, subtitled "Mutants In Manhattan."

While there is no official announcement yet, the game was added today to the Australian Classification Board. Other information we can gather from the listing is that Activision is the publisher and is rated M (15 and up) for its violence. Earlier this month, the Brazil's Ministry of Justice also rated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants In Manhattan. That listing reveals that the game is being created for a hanful of platforms: PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

What we're dying to know is if it is a tie-in game for the live-action film franchise or the current animated series. Perhaps, it isn't based on any TMNT property -- past or present. I'm sure we'll know more soon on the matter. Stay tuned!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 will arrive in theaters June 3, 2016.
