Giving the new DC Expanded Universe more depth and a more cohesive feel, it looks like that Batman's first solo movie under the DCEU might not be so solo after all.

Just like how it seems that Batman will be in the Suicide Squad film, Will Smith's Deadshot could be making his way to Gotham City in Ben Affleck's Batman movie. Latino Review reported rumors circulating that since Smith signed on for a multiple picture deal, he is looking to be part of the future of DC and WB's plans.

As of this moment, it's pure speculation, and nothing is a locked deal, but apparently all parties involved are "enthusiastic". Batman and Deadshot have had a decades-long rivalry that has crossed over into animated movies and even became recent allies in the comics. It sparks up a whole new batch of theories of what exactly goes down in Suicide Squad in order for that to work, though.

Do you think that Smith's involvement could water down Affleck's first Bat-movie, or could the extra star power be what something the initial movie needs?

Ben Affleck makes his debut as the DCEU's Batman/Bruce Wayne in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, out March 25th, 2016. Will Smith will don the arsenal of Deadshot in David Ayer's Suicide Squad, which hits theaters August 5th, 2016.
