The X-Flies 21-Minute Featurette Released

Fox has released a new 21-minute video featurette for the upcoming premiere of the X-Files.

"You ran the X-Files. You were the X-Files. You all but wrote the book," Tad O'Malley (Joel McHale) says to Moulder (David Duchovney). "Yeah, well that book is closed," Moulder responds in a clip seen in the featurette, titled, "Re-Opened."

David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson reprise their iconic roles as Agent Fox Mulder and Agent Dana Scully in the upcoming event series which will encompass a mixture of stand-alone investigative episodes and those that further the original show's seminal mythology. In the opening episode, Mulder and Scully take on a case of a possible alien abductee.

The X-Files has a two-night season premiere airing Sunday January 24, 2016 10-11 PM ET/7-8 PM PT (after the NFC Championship Game) and Monday, January 25, 2016 at 8 PM.
